Christmas is the season of success. A time when we're bombarded with images of families sitting around tables eating massive festive dinners. But what about the 271,000 people experiencing homelessness in the UK?
'Homeless Christmas Dinners' is an emotive photography series featuring 10 still-life photos, depicting the real make-shift meals homeless people have eaten at Christmas time, based on our conversations with 22 regulars at Soup Kitchen London, a Soho based charity, local to our agency.
Three executions ran as print and OOH ads in the run up to Christmas, as a marketing reminder that the sumptuous Christmas dinners advertised aren't a reality for thousands across the UK.
The proactive campaign, created on an agency budget of just £750, called on the public to buy a proper Christmas dinner for someone experiencing homelessness via our website, raising over £25,000 for Soup Kitchen London, enough to fund 5,000 dinners.
