SCRIPT: 

TITLE: Just like her mum

We are in the birth ward of a hospital. A baby girl has just been born and the nurse places her in the arms of her mother who will begin to talk to the little one in a sweet and somewhat intimate way, telling her everything she has inherited and taken from her family and more directly from her.

In the background we will hear the baby's cries gradually turning into tears.

Nurse placing baby in mother's arms: “Here she is... congratulations!”

The excited mum takes her and replies: “Thank you”

Mum: “Hey, welcome to the world Marta...you know you're named after grandma?”

Sfx some stretching and pouring from the little one.

“And the eyes are daddy's. Biiig.”

Sfx a few more verses from the little one. 

Maintaining an extremely serene and motherly tone she continued:

“...And do you know what you got from mummy? Not yet, do you?!

13% of the salary less than a man, 65% of housework, the fear of walking around alone, unemployment after pregnancy, a one in three chance of being a victim of violence.”

Sfx now we hear the baby crying.
