JetBlue’s new campaign features the alter-egos of the Wright brothers – famous for inventing flying – in a series of 1920’s style spots where the duo represents everything that is wrong with modern budget air travel.
The campaign marks a comeback for JetBlue, who’s last major campaign was in 2013. It features the less-than-average brothers as they tell customers that the journey will last “as long as we’re in the air”, ignore customer phone calls, and try to deter people from eating on the plane. The playful tagline reads ‘Just alright doesn’t fly here’, and the reassures people that JetBlue would never treat customers that way.
