Eargo is a DTC hearing aid company that’s also passionate about fighting the social stigma surrounding hearing loss and the wearing of hearing aids. It’s a problem that has been amplified by other brands that treat the target as old and out of touch. Instead, we depicted the consumer in a way never before seen in healthcare advertising - as humans, with sharp intellect and keen sense of humor who refuse to let hearing loss define who they are. The commercial explores a moment of awkwardness caused by the outstanding performance of the dad’s Eargo hearing aids, showing him to be cool and in touch, and able to have a little fun of his own.
