With the aim of raising awareness about the current situation in conflict zones, Blur Films & Sra. Rushmore produced 'Hope', directed by James Rouse for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The purpose of the film is to communicate the importance (and lack of) healthcare in conflict zones, where hospitals and health workers are constantly under attack.
Through a cinematic look and a colour palette that merges perfectly with the surroundings, this powerful spot transmits an emotional grief that increases as the spot goes on, creating a feeling of desperation that maintains the audience´s attention at all times. This heart-breaking story tells the struggle of a father as he tries to save his daughters life, driving for miles to later find out that she cannot be saved.
