This spot tells the story of a hidden hero, a janitor who helps in the background to make the children’s choir Christmas recital extra special. But when the janitor is noticed by a keen-eyed student, she decides to give back to this unsung hero.

This spot tells the story of a hidden hero of Christmas at an Alpine school. Christmas is a wonderful time of magic and wonder, but it doesn’t appear out of thin-air. The festive season is special because of the thoughtful people who find joy in the pure act of giving and enabling Christmas for others. This film wants to inspire people to think about those who give the most at Christmas. The film follows a little girl who takes a closer look into all the unnoticed effort the janitor is putting into the preparation for their choirs recital. The little girl decides to do something extra special and personal to thank the unsung hero's who put effort into making others’ Christmas extra wonderful.

A film like this needs to bring a universal, powerful & honest message in an original inspiring way. Our unsung hero (Leon) needed to be the humble man that always thinks about everyone else. We also felt like this commercial should shine some light on a group of people that we feel are also overlooked. Therefore with the participation of the European Union of the Deaf, we found a wonderful deaf actor who was thrilled to play the character that brings out the hopeful side in the little girl (Mia). Mia is inspired by Leon, she sees a man, that is working day and night to build something special. Not for himself, but for the children and the families that will come to the show. She sees that he is our unsung hero and decides to make a courageous decision at the end of the film. We discover that deep within these different characters, that they both share the ethos of what Christmas is about; empathy, love and individuals that give the most for others.
