The week
commencing 19th February 2018 was not a great one for KFC. Delivery problems meant hundreds of their
restaurants had to close. The media
coined it “The Chicken Crisis”, it was a huge national news story, and it
demanded an equally noteworthy response from KFC. One that apologised to the thousands of
disappointed customers in the UK that were left without chicken, and that put
KFC back in control of the conversation around the crisis.
