What was the brief?
For their latest EMEA conference, Milwaukee wanted us to go grander than each previous year with one of the most impressive animated presentations we’ve made so far and we could not be more proud of the powerful end result. The powertool giants invite their suppliers to an annual conference to share their yearly sales, projected figures and new products. This year, the theme was the conference’s location; Monaco… and yes, you guessed it, F1 and the Grand Prix were huge influencers of our final creation. We were asked for a fast paced, themed multiscreen animated presentation like no other… and we delivered in record time!
What did salamandra.uk create?
We created an outstanding 45 minute multi screen ‘clickable’ presentation featuring over 18 screens for the Monaco venue. Having so many screens showing different animations (including moving one on pulleys) on both the stage, surrounds and ceiling allowed us to create a more immersive experience adding a ‘reveal’ type transition for products and secondary animation for their trademark lightning and explosions marketing treatments. In order to create this impactful piece, we needed to take into account the venue’s floor plan. Once we had all of our planning in place, we worked backwards, from the final screen layout thus ensuring the animation flows smoothly from one screen to the next.
What was our favourite part?
We LOVED creating different types of animation transitions from so many screens! It’s not every day we get to create a 18 screen presentation, especially one with so many moving elements and having creative control over the look and feel of such a fast paced and exciting presentation was fantastic, especially the reveal-type transitions.
