Picture North teams up with exotic resort Ol Malo to capture the experience of adventure and discovery in the African savanna. For two weeks the Picture North team explored the beautiful offerings of the Kenyan outback to capture wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, epic landscapes, and the local Samburu tribe who are very collaborative and open with the resort. “What is Ol Malo?” leans more towards a documented experience rather than a recreated fantasy due to the non scripted, gonzo style film-making the team utilized. Crowned with the powerful and atmospheric M83 track, the project hopes to inspire and energize the audience to go out and explore.
