During the pandemic, as the NHS worked around the clock in whatever PPE they could lay their hands on, another side effect of the virus was becoming tragically clear – and no mask could protect the doctors and nurses from it. The effect of dealing with thousands of deaths over such an intense, short period was taking an incalculable toll on the mental health of all those on the front line.
In this campaign for The Laura Hyde Foundation, the only charity dedicated to helping improve the mental health of emergency workers, TV, social and ads on face masks communicated the very real inner fears and anxieties behind the nurses and doctors own masks. And brought to life the idea that ‘There is no mask for mental health’.
