2020 was an unprecedented year that affected the world with a global pandemic. Love Island's 2020 Summer production had to be put on hold with fans waiting the longest they ever had for a new season! But we ensured that Summer 2021 shaped up to be that much brighter with a brand new season of Love Island returning to its Original Villa in Mallorca. Love Island returning means so much more to people this year - it's a signal that we're returning to a summer we recognise.
Love Island is THE established event of the summer and it's finally back where it belongs. Offering a tinge of summer escape to viewers after an unprecedented year of lockdowns and cancelled holidays.
We wanted to create event TV at its best and for viewers to feel a blast of sunshine and excitement for the summer as soon as the campaign drops.
Our creative primarily talks to 16-34s - both lapsed and regular viewers who we wanted to engage to come and join the fun of another series of Love Island.
This Is Not A Drill! Love Island is BACK!
