NRMA Insurance created 'A Story of Help' which retells the heartwarming story of Australian footballer Mark Bresciano's selfless moment during the 2014 World Cup when he "did what any other dad would do".
Directed by Alex Grigg, "A Story of Help" reminisces on a soccer match where Socceroos star Mark Bresciano tied up the shoelace of a mascot on crutches.
The cell animated, illustration style, featuring brush strokes, textures, as well as a reduced colour palette, maintains a loose casual feel to the imagery. With the smooth transitions and flowing imagery rolling the story along effortlessly.
The campaign builds on NRMA's 'Help is Who We Are' brand positioning, which highlights everyday Australian heroes who go out of their way to help.
