This is a brand awareness campaign for Translink – the public transport provider for all of Northern Ireland across bus, coach and rail.
The campaign doesn’t ask our audience to do anything or buy anything, we just gently illustrate the importance of connection.
Recognising that Translink play a part in facilitating this connection is left to the viewer, as there are purposefully few visual references to public transport – the focus is life.
The film is crafted using still photography – intimate and emotive glimpses of life presented in a manner that suggests personal moments from a photo album, each celebrating the coming together of a diverse, multi-cultural, cross community landscape of people.
It is set to an equally tender music track from Northern Irish native Lilla Vargen, marrying a sense of endless possibility through the lyrics of ‘Downtown’ to the overall sentiment of the film.
