We have been keen to collaborate with the brilliant people at BBC for some time. The work they make is something which truly inspires us.
Having had the chance to pitch on campaigns for the Euros and having directed a BBC Sounds campaign, Harry Cauty was again approached to direct this years BBC Commonwealth Games trailer.
Harry loved how much this brief was about making Birmingham the hero. Where the BBC wanted to represent as many people and places as possible in the film, he wanted to do the same when it came to the animation team behind the film. We brought in 4 animation teams, two of whom were from Birmingham, to create a multi-disciplinary animation film, representing a diverse mix of people both on screen and behind screen.
