Printed press current´s situation is not at its best right now. Many advertisers think that this communication method lacks creativity and innovation. In Aldi we wanted to prove that is not the case, so we published a series of pages in real time, something that was only possible with digital media. How? We coordinated this action with a couple of newspapers to get the freshest news at 9:00pm. We printed this and used it to wrap our fresh products, we took a picture, made our ad and sent it to presses before 11:00pm, when they get started.
Acconplished: Our fresh product launched right next to the news that it was wrapped with, and we proved that printed press its more alive than it ever was.
