Canadians are used to hearing all about the advantages of Bell pure fibre Internet, but it has one big disadvantage: once you're used to the world's fastest Internet technology, anything else is terrifying.
“The Horror” is a double-feature screamfest that explores the fear of discovering cable Internet in your home.
In “The Rental”, a regular Canadian family realizes their vacation home is perfect in every way. And yet, amidst the perfection, something feels off. In fact, something is very, very wrong. With a creeping sense of dread, they are brought face-to-face with the true horror at the heart of the house — it has cable Internet. And with that blood-curdling discovery, they flee in terror.
And then in the “The Visitor” — like every true sequel — everything gets cranked up to 11. We enter a nightmare realm where a man is being pursued through his home by what he thinks is his greatest fear… until he is brought face-to-face with an even greater one: he discovers his home has cable Internet. But just as his psyche cracks from the horror, he wakes up. It was all a horrible dream… or was it?
The campaign launched with “The Rental” during the Super Bowl, with both going on to air on TV, digital, and cinema. All to demonstrate to Canadian audiences that Bell pure fibre Internet is so good… it’s scary.
