The best ways to sell Munchie Meals?
Hire the guy who always has the munchies.
Late night legends. SoCal kings. Stoner icons.
A partnership between Jack in the Box and Snoop Dogg made too much sense to not happen.
It started when Jack Box, the fictional CEO of Jack in the Box, asked fans if he should hand the late-night keys over to Snoop. Unsurprisingly, they said yes. What followed was the launch of Snoop’s Munchie Meal and a 360 campaign led by a hero spot where Jack fetches Snoop from another commercial to bring him into the Jackverse.
And while celebrity fast-food meals are everywhere, we took things a step further—we gave Snoop his own Jack in the Box.
Dogg in tha Box was a weekend-long “Snoopification” of a Jack in the Box in Inglewood, CA. The decor. The employee uniforms. Even the menu was completely rewritten to be in Snoop’s signature slang. We handed out exclusive swag and invited lowrider clubs from around the city to bounce their cars in the parking lot.
The store experience and authenticity of the partnership made Dogg in tha Box a celebration of LA culture rather than just another brand activation. It helped our Snoop partnership become one of Jack in the Box’s most successful campaigns to date.
