When I travel for work, I've found some of my favorite nights are going to a local bar or restaurant solo, listening to the music, the surrounding conversations, trying the local food and beverage, and overall just be a sponge - absorbing the character of the city. It's an intoxicating feeling that is impossible to find on the travel channel or any YouTube city tour. All our sensors are tingling when we visit a new place for a reason, and this is no different – the sights, the sounds, and the smells are all on full display. This is a celebration of Louisville, not only as a city but as a character, a living, breathing world, ripe with history,
texture, interesting people, and oh yea ... they got bourbon too.
