Amplify is recruiting for a Business Lead with experience in running PR, content and socially led creative campaigns.

This is an opportunity to lead the day to day management of a portfolio of campaigns for world leading brands in Australia, as part of a small and dynamic creative agency based in Sydney.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Clients are our business. You are experienced in creating and sustaining successful relationships.

You will have a proven track record delivering excellence with world leading consumer brands, and have an ability to think strategically about marketing challenges, whatever the brief, audience or channel.

You’ll have extensive experience managing clients providing best in class account management, problem solving and relationship building, as well as experience managing budgets, profitability and delivery of programmes to the highest standards.

An eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as a natural gravitas and presence to make things happen.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO

Account Handling
Be the main day to day client contact across all allocated clients and projects – acting as guardian of the account (internally and externally)
Lead and manage projects and project deliverables on a day-to-day basis – ensuring excellence in delivery and timely communication
Make solid recommendations to our clients demonstrating strategic understanding of their business, the competitor landscape and business challenges

Planning and Development
Foster rapport with clients to develop and find new business opportunities
Liaising with the creative department to plan resource requirements
Establish social opportunities with clients to develop ongoing insights in to future business opportunities

Responses to Briefs
Lead the process when taking new briefs from clients including the initial interrogation of the brief, analysis of the deliverables and dissemination of information to the wider project team
Inject your knowledge of creative, PR and social-led campaigns and offer guidance and recommendations in order to shape the response
Lead and direct pitch responses with all stakeholders including owning the presentation deck and it’s quality output ensuring it answers the client brief
Evaluating and exploring an idea / sense checking the feasibility in execution in collaboration with the production team
Leading the presentation of ideas and solutions to clients alongside other team members

Campaign Development and Project Management
Work on multiple projects dependent on scale at any one time
Own the development of PR, content, social and influencer campaigns and execute confidently
Determine client KPIs against client objectives and ensure they’re met throughout the campaign
Manage clients partner agencies on multi-agency brief scenarios to streamline
responses and client communication
Develop the final scope of work with Business Director / Head of Client Services
Maintaining ongoing client communications including (but not limited to) meeting invitations, meeting agendas, status reports, contact reports, critical path timelines, creative visuals and budget updates
Be proactive in actively managing up and down (where relevant) to ensure all
requirements are delivered to time and within budget
Developing and implementing external communication plans and strategies that align with our client’s business objectives
Mandatory: experience in managing events and talent / influencers
Nice to have: experience in running content production executions – pre-production, production to post

Financial Management
Demonstrate financial acumen and flair, adhering to Amplify and client procedures whilst installing diligence across the junior team
Manage project forecasting with the Business Director / Head of Client Services
Manage overall campaign budgets on behalf of clients

Line Management (where applicable)
Manage, mentor, challenge and develop the junior team by demonstrating outstanding role model behaviour
Track and evaluate career progression of junior team through regular catch ups and annual appraisals
Champion processes across the business to ensure compliance from junior team

Extensive experience managing clients providing best in class account handling, problem solving and relationship building
Experience managing budgets, profitability and delivery
Experience in managing multiple individuals, driving them towards excellence
Excellent written and presentation ability
A natural gravitas and presence to make things happen!
Bonus if you are a Mandarin or Spanish speaker as we are working on some bilingual programs
