Google Australia and 72andSunny, in collaboration with Essence and PHD, have launched a new campaign to show how Google Nest can help you enjoy the shows and movies you love, in any room in the home.
The campaign is built on several insights: that content doesn’t merely 'entertain' but connects us emotionally and socially, and home is central to that connection. Yet new technology can sometimes get in the way, creating friction and distracting us.
One of the key benefits of the Google Nest ecosystem is the products make it easier for people to connect to their favourite entertainment, from any device in any room of the house. So they can stay immersed in the moment and not be distracted by the technology.
To bring this delightful product experience to life, the creative features iconic scenes selected from some of Australia’s best loved content, via a partnership with Netflix.
30 and 15-second ads will run across digital and TV, alongside social, radio and outdoor. The integrated comms plan is designed to hero different products and features across multiple assets and is timed to coincide with a key sales period - from Black Friday through to the lead up to Christmas.
“We know that the way in which people consume and engage with entertainment has evolved over the past 18 months, and that the home has become an even more important access point. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with 72andSunny Australia, this time to help show Australians how Nest can help you enjoy the shows, movies and music you love, seamlessly, in any room of the home,” said Julia Davis, head of devices and services marketing, Google AUNZ.
“One of the awesome things about Google Nest is how the ecosystem of products works together. Entertainment is the perfect vehicle to demonstrate this, also allowing us to hero iconic shows like Stranger Things and Vivo,” said Luke Martin, ECD, 72andSunny Australia.
The campaign follows the launch in August of a 72andSunny campaign for Google Nest Security products.
72andSunny have helped to grow the Google Nest business in Australia since its launch four years ago. They also partner with Google across brand and Pixel campaigns.
