As its first branded content, Coors Light is unveiling an online content series, titled “My Climb. My Story” that centres on real-life accounts of resilient people who continually “climb on” by overcoming personal challenges.
The first content piece, which breaks today, centres on “Shezi,” a fashion designer and entrepreneur whose career was derailed due to a heart tumour last year. Just as he received funding for his own clothing line, Shezi’s health complications brought everything to a halt. Shezi required an immediate operation and while focusing on his health, he lost the space to open his shop. Despite this initial setback, Shezi’s passion for fashion design motivated him through recovery, pushing himself to exceed his doctors’ expectations, including walking five times a days instead of the prescribed three after his surgery. Shezi has since made a full recovery and opened his own shop in Los Angeles, titled “OU:RS.” Shezi’s designs are also available for purchase online.
“Shezi” will debut on its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts with more online films rolling out in the next year.
