Love is well and truly in the aisles in Centra’s first ‘Dinner Made Easy’ campaign, created by Boys + Girls to launch Centra’s Freshly Prepared Meals range. Breaking stereotypes and redefining the ready meal dinner experience, this campaign tells the story of an unexpected romance at the ‘Dinner Made Easy’ section of a Centra.
At the heart of the campaign are two charming golden oldies who fall in love at first sight over a Centra Freshly Prepared Chicken Tikka meal (as you do!). The hilariously heart-warming story unfolds as our two shoppers share a moment of connection that challenges the conventional romance story.
Niamh Ryan, senior copywriter at Boys + Girls, comments, "Creatively our story was inspired by the outdated idea of a ready meals being a lonely meal for single people. But what if ‘a meal for one, could become an unexpected dinner for two?’
The spot was shot on location in Centra Stamullen's newly refurbished store and was directed by the talented Tina Bull (aka Tiny Bullet) of Antidote Productions.

Centra’s meal range are freshly prepared by Dublin based food producer Ballymaguire Foods. Made by experts to make dinner easy, the product range has something for everyone; customers can explore new tastes with the chicken tikka and chilli beef, or opt for comfort classics such as beef lasagne, cottage pie and carvery options.
The campaign invites consumers to discover the ‘Dinner Made Easy’ aisle for themselves, and while they may not find love in the aisles, they will fall in love with Centra’s new range of great tasting meals.
