adam&eveDDB New York Enlists Rene Ramirez to Drive Creative Talent Agenda

adam&eveDDB announces the appointment of Rene Ramirez as the head of creative talent and culture for its New York office. In this newly formed role, Rene will lead creative recruiting and operations in collaboration with the adam&eveDDB leadership team including Richard Brim, Global CCO and Caroline Winterton, CEO, US, to further elevate the agency's talent, culture, and unlock the full potential of its creative offering.

Rene brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He began his advertising career at McClain Finlon Advertising in Denver, Colorado, before relocating to New York, where he worked for renowned agencies like McCann, TBWA, The Martin Agency, and, most recently, Droga5.

At Droga5, Rene spent the last seven-plus years in various roles where he developed a deep understanding of the creative discipline, and the environment necessary for talent to produce their most impactful work. He successfully helped run their creative department as director of creative talent, working alongside the likes Neil Heymann, Feliks Richter, Tim Gordon, and Scott Bell. During his tenure, Droga5 received numerous accolades, including being named Agency of the Decade by both Ad Age and Adweek, Creativity Agency of the Year (2019), and Ad Age Agency of the Year (2021).  

Rene joins at a pivotal time for the agency, as it extends its reach across the US with the launch of a San Francisco operation. As head of creative talent and culture, he is charged with pipelining new talent and overseeing creative operations to ensure that creativity is pulsing through every part of the agency – from talent staffing to mentorship and retention and attracting a new generation of makers and creators who share a unique perspective for what work-life balance looks like.

Since the merger of adam&eveNYC and DDB New York in June 2023, adam&eveDDB has been on an impressive winning streak with Caroline Winterton and James Rowe, managing director, at the helm. Not only have they added several new accounts to their portfolio in the past year, but they have also produced a series of ground breaking campaigns for Marmite, the International Paralympic Committee, and Nathan’s Famous that have garnered international recognition. 

These wins and exceptional work have paved the way for adam&eveDDB's expansion across the US. In January 2024, they launched adam&eveDDB West, which boasts clients such as Molson Coors, Unilever, and Energy Upgrade California.
