Photographed by the talented local, Uri Barcelona, and directed by Alan Masferrer, with the use of analog, gave life to one of our most representative projects.
This project not only stands out for its stunning visual result and vintage style, it also stands out for the story behind it, either fictitious and real, marked by the effort, dedication and tireless work of all the participants, we managed to get everything just right . Barcelona is not only the setting for our projects, it is also a comfort zone, for residents and for people who want to come to enjoy and work in it.
For this story, we had three main actors playing "Dave", "River" and "Diana", who, for personal reasons, suffered from a significant burden that they managed to release after immersing themselves in a run through the sunny city.
The shoot was completed in only three days, in a total of six different locations, each with specific complexities.
The first day we woke up so early that the sun had not yet fully set (not really). In addition to obtaining difficult permits from government locations - as we were shooting in a court facility,. On that same day we had to recreate an entire hospital floor from nothing. This had an Art team led by Anna Colomer that gave life to incredible scenes, such as an analog timelapse that, honestly, I still don't understand how it was done, "hehe".
On the second day, we had teh under age casting, who had the child licensing permits sorted in record time, which was obviously managed thanks to the clever production team. Plus, two of the stories were played out on the same set (guess which ones), so the art team had to move quickly to make the set look like two totally different locations from one character to the next.
And for the third day, we also had, of course, a complexity; in this last case, it was to coordinate our team to be able to shoot simultaneously in two different locations at the same time, because we had to record the characters running at a specific time; the cool blue hour.
