Today, Berlin Cameron (A VML Company) and AIG launch the “Forward We Go” campaign at the AIG Women’s Open, August 22-25 at St Andrews. This campaign positions AIG as a leading supporter of women in sports, business and society. Additionally, it reinforces that AIG has invested in women’s golf since 2019 and highlights its past, present and future commitment to this sport, leading by example to create a culture of inclusion and social responsibility.
"Allies Across Generations" is a spot that captures the magic of mentorship and the power of sport. AIG's Global Ambassador, professional golfer Georgia Hall, takes centre stage, but the real stars are the young girls she inspires. Through a series of unexpected shots, Georgia delivers personalised golf balls with uplifting messages, sparking joy and igniting a passion for the game in the next generation of athletes. This spot beautifully encapsulates AIG's commitment to investing in future generations, embodying the same resilience and ambition that defines both Georgia Hall and the company's own journey.
The campaign seeks to resonate with a broader audience of golf enthusiasts, passionate advocates of women's sports, and parents raising the next generation of female athletes. AIG believes these groups share a common thread – a commitment to excellence, equality, and the power of sports to empower individuals and communities.
The campaign consists of eight unique tv ads that will air during the broadcast of the AIG WO on NBC and Sky Sports, social media content on AIG’s LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube channels, AIG.com website promotion, and an NBC interview with AIG CEO Peter Zaffino during the weekend broadcast of the Championship.
AIG has been a steadfast champion of women's golf long before it became a focal point in the sports world. The title sponsorship, acquired in 2019, is a testament to this enduring commitment, demonstrating our belief in the power and potential of women on the golf course but also in business and society.
