Air-Edel teamed up with Ecover and Uncommon Creative Studio on their brilliant spoof campaign ‘L’eau de Bébé’, directed by Matias and Mathias.
Air-Edel's Theo Vidgen composed the original score for the campaign, which aims to mark the launch of scentless hypoallergenic range Ecover Zero and encourage today’s conscious consumers to rethink their cleaning habits at a key lifetime transition moment - when they become parents.
“It was a joy to work with Ecover/Uncommon Creative Studios in creating this high-end perfume advert with an important environmental message. I had the opportunity to work closely with Uncommon creative directors, Christopher Keatinge and Tom Houser, who I have collaborated with on previous projects. We aimed to create a neo classical sound world, using string orchestra combined with modern production techniques which was great fun to experiment with!” says Theo.
The work is Ecover’s first film piece which highlights their important brand mission ‘Let’s Live Clean’, encouraging conscious consumers to join Ecover in a movement that isn’t just about cleaning homes, but about cleaning the world.
“In our game it’s a dream to work on a product and a brand that has a positive and meaningful effect on the world... with L’eau de Bébé you can save the planet, protect your babies' skin and have a laugh at the same time, which is what Ecover is all about,” say Nils Leonard, co-founder of Uncommon.
