FCB Montréal welcomes Alexandra-Julie Poirier as ACD. With extensive experience both at agencies (Taxi, Ogilvy, and McCann) and on the client side (McGill, Indigo), Poirier adds more talent to a team that has continued to expand since the last year. Alexandra-Julie's main responsibilities will be on Air Canada, Sobeys/IGA, and Novartis (a recent agency win).
“The agency has grown considerably over the past year, to the point where we needed to add someone of Alexandra-Julie's caliber to strengthen the creative department and keep our creative product constantly evolving,” said Sylvain Dufresne, co-president and head of creative at FCB Montréal. “AJ’s experience strengthens FCB’s capacity as a Montréal agency that excels with both local and national clients.”
“The fit was just natural with every person I met at FCB. We have a common vision of the importance of human relationships and agency-partner collaboration and this desire to make the best work of our career,” Alexandra-Julie tells us. “I am aligned with FCB’s belief that creativity is an economic multiplier and I am really looking forward to using my skills and experience to help drive our client’s business.”
The arrival of Poirier is in addition to numerous hires over the past year, including Nico Beaudry, senior French copywriter, Adrien Pieri, art director, Louis Madinier, art director, Carl-Hugo Poirier as web designer, Marguerite Amiot in traffic and client services, and Dana Hajee, project lead.
With recent wins such as QuickBooks, Novartis, and other upcoming announcements, the agency continues to hire and is also seeking to fill positions in Strategy, Client Services, and English copywriting.
