Amplify – the creative agency specialising in experience and culture – designed and executed the first Patreon Creator Fest, an event to bring creators from all backgrounds together to connect, create, and get inspired. Patreon Creator Fest took place in LA’s historic Fashion District at City Market Social house – an airy, modern warehouse, that served as a blank canvas for Patreon to make their mark for this inaugural experience.
Through dynamic + colourful design, leveraging multi-media structures and a range of make-shift materials, the agency’s aim for the over-all experience was to bring to life Patreon’s vision for a creator-led future – one where creativity is not a commodity, but a venerated craft. The newly launched Patreon logo and evolved brand identity was also peppered into the creative direction, serving as a visual nod to the future of the platform.
In concert with the event backdrop, the programming was carefully curated for creators to include keynotes, informational product sessions, masterclasses, and performances – all designed to showcase the breadth of offerings + creative tools represented on the Patreon platform. Featured Creators included Jade Novah, Frank Warren of Post Secret, and the ‘Girls Next Level’ podcast hosts, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. To keep the show moving, beloved podcaster, Kid Fury, was the master MC.
Most notably within the programming was an inspiring keynote by Jack Conte, the co-founder and CEO of Patreon. Jack shared a look back at the evolving relationship between creators and their fans as the internet has shifted as has his vision for a creator-led future.
The event ended with a comedy showcase hosted by KevOnStage featuring comedian and social media influencer Tahir Moore, comedian and actress B. Simone, and comedian and actress Amanda Seales.
