Anonymous Content’s UK team recently welcomed Apple CEO Tim Cook for a chat with the company’s UK-repped directors The Reids about how they use iPhone in their work. Tim visited Anonymous Content UK and the directing duo, comprised of brothers Will and Ed Reid, at a London outpost to offer Tim an exclusive first look at 'The One You Have With You,' their upcoming photography book featuring photos that were all shot on iPhone over the course of a year. In addition, two recent projects – the commercial for Hicks 'Blinders' and the music video for Mura Masa’s 'Rise' were on display as well – also shot on iPhone.
South East London born and bred, the duo’s filmmaking style is rooted in their love of documentary photography, striking the balance of presenting reality and heightening it. View their reel here.
The Reids recently won Best New Director at the UK Music Video Awards and were named to The One Club for Creativity’s Young Guns 22, the annual list that recognises the vanguard of creative professionals, 30 years of age and under, from around the world. In addition to their upcoming photography book, they are currently in development on their latest short film.
