BBDO Dusseldorf's Funny Mars Spot Proves Treats Aren't Just for Pets

When our pets have been good we offer them little treats to show our affection. BBDO saw the link between this behavior and Mars Minis’ positioning as “anytime treats.” 

BBDO Dusseldorf took the opportunity to highlight this connection with a humorous spot called “Tennis” which shows Mars Minis really are “people treats.”

With the help of world-renowned production company Twin Group and multiple gold award-winning director Eric Yealland, the spot came to life demonstrating, in Yealland’s famous dry style, one of many occasions when people deserve a Mars Minis treat.

“This great new spot shows the strength of MARS Minis in a unique and humorous way,” said Carsten Simon, Category Director of Mars Chocolate Germany.

“This positioning gives people the moral permission to enjoy the reasonably sized sweet whenever they like,” added BBDO Düsseldorf Chief Creative Officer Darren Richardson. “It’s a treat and reward just for being a good person, or in this case a ”good boy.”
