Today international production company HAMLET launch ‘First in Fast’, a brand campaign for Belgium online betting company BetFIRST.
Created by Mutant Brussels and directed by Julien et Quentin through HAMLET, the 30 second TVC is set in an urban landscape and hangs out with the cool kids. It will be aired in Belgium and on Dutch, French and Belgian online and social channels.
With a cinematic feel, and a host of cheeky, charismatic characters who ooze plenty of style, the film is fast-paced and moves around with a constant change of rhythm, alternating between extreme speed and slow motion with fluidity. A reflection of the fast and convenient lifestyle the betFIRST customers are used to.
Julien Martorell, one half of directing duo Julien et Quentin added: “We really enjoyed making this film! The creative idea of exploiting the topic of speed spoke to us very quickly, as did the staging, the cinematography, the movement and transitions, and the dynamic sound.”
Odin Saillé, creative director at Mutant commented: "Julien & Quentin were tasked with translating 'speed' into a fresh visual language that's still comprehensible and entertaining to look at. They succeeded at visualizing this in a multitude of creative ways: from shape deformation on a football, to high pitched voice effects and first person point of views that transported me back to the DooM days."
