On Wednesday 23rd of October, we will be hosting our first Better Together event in London - an exclusive gathering of 200 of London's finest marketers, creatives, agency and production folk for a full day of panel discussions and networking opportunities. Hosted in a beautiful creative setting in Camden, we will debate and uncover what's really driving change in the industry right now and how we can help (collectively) achieve more as an industry.
It's going to be a great day where guests can see new tech, listen to some great speakers, learn new ways of working with each other and find new partnerships.
Panels and discussions will run from 09:30 - 16:30 and we will round off the day with networking, drinks and music between 16:30 and 21:30.
This introduction will set the tone for the day’s discussion by presenting the facts and figures our industry is working with as well as asking the big questions - how well do we really collaborate and how can we work better together?

10:45 - 11:30 What Do Modern Brands REALLY Need?
Modern marketers have a lot to think about. Their jobs have become more complex than ever as their businesses navigate the demands and possibilities presented by the 21st century. For those working with brands, whether media, creative or PR agencies or production companies, they can easily find themselves hyper-focused on their particular niche, without fully understanding the bigger picture, leading to missed opportunities. Not least when it comes to creativity and fully leveraging it to transform brands.
We’re bringing together a clutch of top marketers to get an insight into how they like to work with their partners, what they’re really looking for and what a creatively excellent relationship looks like to them. Read more about the panel here.

11:45 - 12:45 What Does Production Look Like in 2024 and Beyond?
Brands produce hundreds, if not thousands of assets a year. Beyond their 30 second TV spots, they’ve got to think about making stuff for social media, e-commerce, point of sale, digital OOH, podcasts, live events, and the odd eye-catching tech innovation. At the same time, they’re having to work harder than ever to grab attention. It all has huge implications for craft, tech and logistics.
With so much to juggle, and the new challenges and opportunities that are arising, brands, agencies, and production companies are finding different ways to work - and work together. We’ll be talking to production experts across the industry to put together the jigsaw of what production really looks like now, and how companies need to adapt.

14:30 - 15:15 How Are Agencies Evolving?
Keeping up with advertising agencies and their changes can feel like a full time job in itself.
For what seems like forever, the major players in the advertising industry have been restructuring, shaking up their offering and smooshing together previously happily separate agencies. More and more brands are building their own tailor made studios and hot shops. And indies are becoming more entrepreneurial than ever. No one seems to do just one thing any more, some do PR, some have built up events, some have built their own production units, talent agencies, tech expertise and more. For those who work with agencies, whether marketers, suppliers or partners, it can be confusing to figure out who does what and where opportunities lie. We’re bringing together agency insiders from a whole spectrum of the industry to learn just how agencies are evolving, how to get the best out of them and where they’re going next.

For so long, businesses in the ad industry sat in clearly-defined, easy boxes. Creative agency, media agency, production company, post house, media owner. These days the lines are somewhat blurred, and the most entrepreneurial thinkers are finding opportunities in emerging in-between spaces. From in-housing experts to influencer experts unlocking the potential of new gen creators, and of course the businesses finding exciting ways to leverage AI.
Look forward to an insightful and inspirational session, full of fresh ways to think about your own company and an insight into where the industry is growing.
