Farrow & Ball are known for crafting beautiful and evocative paint colours with quirky names. So to launch its 11 new colours, BITE took inspiration from its mesmerising production process.
Usually known for shooting food, director Gus Filgate approached the project in much the same way as he would do a food shoot, by doing a 'cook up' and test days beforehand and shooting the drops, swirls and bubbles using complex rigs and high speed. Each colour was given its own unique movement and style, and this was also reflected in the look of each of the room sets.
Will Marsden and Jordan Down, ECDs at Farrow & Ball, said: “Working with Gus and the wonderful team at BITE (who turned their incredible food experience to paint) we created a set of films that hero the new names, accompanied by abstract visuals of making, mixing and meticulous craft.”
