Blackweek Partners with WPP to Host Executive Business Lounge at Inaugural Conference
The event focuses on creating greater visibility and connections between diverse founders, senior leadership, and corporate development executives from WPP.
Blackweek, a new economic forum in New York City, announced today a partnership with leading advertising and marketing services company WPP to host an invite-only executive lounge at its inaugural conference this month. The lounge will provide a unique space for diverse agency founders and CEOs to connect, share insights, and explore business opportunities with WPP’s Corporate Development team, hosted by Michael Houston, President, US, WPP.
The executive business lounge at WPP’s New York City Campus will provide an intimate setting for in-depth conversations and strategic networking. Attendees will have access to senior corporate development leaders and can share knowledge on business development, funding, and planning in a private setting.
“Blackweek is not just about celebrating Black excellence; it’s about building a more equitable and prosperous future for Black entrepreneurs and leaders,” said Walter Geer, co-founder of Blackweek and COO Innovation North America, VML. “Hosting this space demonstrates our commitment to driving tangible investment and creating pathways for Black-owned businesses to thrive.”
“We are excited to support Blackweek and its mission to create a more inclusive business landscape,” added Michael Houston, president of WPP in the US. “We want to offer an opportunity to foster meaningful connections and drive business growth within the Black community.”
