Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new global campaign by team_x, produced by Zauberberg and starring Hollywood actor and director Bradley Cooper, promoting the new electric G Class, the G 580 with EQ Technology.
Titled “The Rise of Electric,” the TV and social media campaign spotlights the brand’s first fully electric version of its iconic off-roader.
The campaign celebrates the G-Class as unstoppable explorer, as it conquers new terrains and rises to the top. Impressively stating once and for all that it truly is: The uncompromising. The iconic. The Geländewagen.
The centrepiece of the campaign is a commercial featuring Bradley Cooper, a longtime G-Class enthusiast.
The film captures the essence of the G-Class through a dramatic action sequence, highlighting the vehicle’s versatility in both off-road and urban settings. The campaign underscores the G-Class’s ability to empower drivers to conquer any terrain and pursue their own path.
The musical backdrop is a new version of the classic “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” reinterpreted for the occasion and further emphasising the vehicle’s indomitable spirit.
