Brazilian Mountain Range Challenges Athletes to Marathon for Ninjas

F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi has created an atmospheric monochrome film for Mizuno to publicize the UpHill Marathon, one of the most dramatic races in Brazil.

The marathon will take place on October 19 with the participation of only 300 athletes who will run 42 km uphill through the spectacular landscape of Serra do Rio Rastro (SC) in the South of the country. This mythical endurance race transforms high-level athletes into something bigger – Ninjas.

The beautifully shot 116’ digital film was conceived by ECD’s Fabio Fernandes and Eduardo Lima with Production Company YourMama films, and directed by Rafaela Carvalho.
