Calvin Klein has launched their star-studded Fall 2022 Campaign, featuring video work by Alasdair McLellan, with colour grading by Studio RM’s Jamie Noble and finishing by Studio RM. This is their second consecutive collaboration with the brand, with the pair recently working together on Calvin Klein x Palace Skateboards ‘CK1Palace’ campaign.
Harkening back to the minimalistic and raw visuals Calvin Klein is known for, the new fall campaign shows celebrities in their mundane, everyday glory: lazying about on the couch, doing their laundry, and attempting to exercise. The cast includes a host of iconic and emerging faces, including actor and style icon Chloe Sevigny, Euphoria star Dominic Filke, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, actor and activist Susan Sarandon, and models Lila Moss and Precious Lee, among others.
McLellan’s visuals offer a laid-back, leisurely vision of city life. With assistance from colourist Jamie Noble, the episodic films capture the casual, unpolished attitude distinctive to the Calvin Klein brand, through warm, natural tones, analog film grain, and VHS glow that radiate from television screens. McLellan has worked with Noble and the Studio RM team for over six years, on the strength of the studio’s high-quality finishes, artistic flourish, and specialist experience within the fashion industry.
Jamie Noble is a senior colourist at Studio RM. Jamie joined Studio RM in 2012, where he started out as a photographic printer and retoucher before moving into color grading eight years ago, Noble is known for his impeccable attention to detail, photographic nuance and artistic sensibility. His work on ‘CK1Palace’ received nominations for best colour grade at both the Creative Circle and Berlin Commercial Awards. He also recently received a nomination at the AICP Awards for his work on Hugo Boss’ watch campaign.
