GEICO's lovable Gecko is about to add an all-new, important role to his official job description: 'Ease Specialist.'
In this new campaign, brought to life by long-time Creative AOR The Martin Agency, we find a range of tough situations, and the Ease Specialist is there to help. But these aren’t your everyday sticky situations - here the Gecko demonstrates his decades of ease expertise across a range of cinematic genres as a backdrop. Each entertaining scenario touches on familiar tropes and, in the end, the Gecko saves the day - sometimes even the galaxy.
The campaign launches across Linear, Digital, and Social, kicking off with two commercials - 'Down and Easy,' which has the Gecko called into a forlorn football locker room to rally the team with a rousing halftime speech about how GEICO makes car insurance easy; and 'Wormhole,' where the Gecko is summoned to an intergalactic council meeting to save the day, as only he can, by sharing how GEICO makes it easy to insure everything from cars to jewellery. The 'Drewdunnit' and 'The Neo Western' content is set to release later this month. The campaign will run throughout the holiday season and into the new year.
