Five by Five has been tasked with revamping the brand positioning of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), which has for over 100 years supported the marketing sector. The remit is to craft a fresh brand proposition and campaign for the brand, which is set to launch later this year.
The agency will also be responsible for developing a creative platform that allows the CIM to talk about a variety of new qualifications and training courses it is launching and revamping.
Five by Five was appointed following an internally run pitch process. There was no incumbent.
On the appointment, Mark Scott, director of marketing and communications at CIM, said, “Five by Five has an impressive track record of bringing brand positioning to life in a creative and effective manner. We were impressed by how quickly they understood what made the CIM so unique and appealing to our audiences.”
Annabel Mackie, managing director at Five by Five, commented, “To be partnering with an organisation that stands for marketing excellence – it doesn't get any better than that! We've got a real opportunity to reignite an organisation that is in a strong position to build on the past, challenge peoples' perceptions and build a greater connection with audiences across their digital platforms and channels.”
