The first pregnant woman in Times Square and on a cereal box proves tempeh is good in campaign from No Fixed Address

Tempeh is the culinary world's most underrated food. Most people don’t know what it is, and those who do think it’s no more than a niche vegan substitute. With 18 grams of protein per serving, all nine essential amino acids, and fermented soybeans for gut health, it's so much more than that.

As North America's #1 tempeh brand, LightLife knows this ancient superfood is the key to the next big thing. The world needs more tempeh, so LightLife is on a mission to 'tempehfy' the world - AKA add it to anything and everything. By verbing it, they created an action of simply adding tempeh, to get it on the plates and minds of people across North America.

In collaboration with celeb chef Molly Baz, and 12 other industry tastemakers like Sohla El Waylly, Max Lamanna and more, creators are taking to social to #tempehfy their most popular dishes. They’re bringing their fan faves to the next level with tempeh and are encouraging others to do the same. From Molly’s iconic cae sal to pizza to shawarma, tempeh is showing up in all of the places you don’t expect it.

The recipes are housed on the tempehfy homepage, but these mouth-watering dishes deserved their very own cookbook. The results were too delicious not to share, so we created a limited-edition run, available to win at @lightlifefoods.

This campaign in collaboration with creative and media agency No Fixed Address, is supported with OLV featuring Molly Baz, OOH, social, digital and influencers, all making #tempehfy a part of the internet's vocabulary. All paid media leads to the campaign landing page where you’ll find tempeh info, inspiration, and recipes.

D’Arcy Finley, VP of brand and marketing at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. which produces LightLife products, says, “The world has been sitting on this incredible superfood. It is too delicious and healthy not to be on everyone’s grocery list. It’s tempeh’s time to shine.”

Alexis Bronstorph, CCO at No Fixed Address, adds, “Molly Baz has some of the hottest takes in food right now, so we knew she was the perfect fit. Who else could convince people to try an ancient cake of fermented soybeans? She's got the taste cred, and the boldness to be the first chef to admit the tempeh is awesome.”

With tons of recipes already filed under #tempehfy, this ancient health craze is taking off showing people all of the delicious ways to enjoy tempeh and making the hot new thing, a 400-year-old superfood.
