Produced by Czar Amsterdam, the Volkswagen spot takes viewers on an emotional journey as it cleverly tackles the bittersweet reality that can come from replacing your old Volkswagen with a newer model. 

Directed by Bart Timmer, who is renowned for his comedic genius, the commercial kicks off in what appears to be a gloomy and rainy scenario fit for a rom-com breakup scene. The downpour, the melancholic music, and our protagonist's heart-wrenching sobs set the stage for a tear-jerking moment. However, as the story unfolds, viewers quickly realise that this isn't a story of lost love but a humorous farewell to an old friend - their trusty Volkswagen.
