The lineup at Aotea Centre from 1pm on 3rd July includes leading thought leaders alongside CEOs and senior practitioners from some of Aotearoa’s biggest media owners, agencies and advertisers.
With more speakers to be announced shortly, it’s already a star-studded event.
Dr Grace Kite, who will be joining the event virtually from the UK, is a leading voice in marketing effectiveness, and founded Magic Numbers in 2010. She focuses on big picture patterns in business growth and in how people and organisations absorb data and analytics.
“Grace is one of our industry’s leading global thinkers, having won the Grand Prix at both the IPA Effectiveness Awards and Cannes Lions. Everything she does is rooted in numbers and she’ll be talking to the importance of measuring the right things, not simply the things that come with the promise of measurement," said Simon Lendrum, CEO of the Comms Council.
Another familiar name taking to the stage is Sinead Boucher, Stuff Group’s owner and publisher. Sinead’s commitment to journalism and publishing in Aotearoa is enormous, and she’ll be joined on stage by Juliet Peterson, head of networks Australia and New Zealand at Warner Bros. Discovery. Media Spotlight takes place days before the launch of the new TV3 news offering powered by collaboration with Stuff. Sinead and Juliet will talk about what it took to bring the solution to market and what we can learn from it in terms of collaboration across the media divide to survive the challenges presented by the market.
Comms Council and ANZA will be announcing more speakers in the coming days, but this is already a must-attend event for senior advertisers, chief executives, and leaders across the media landscape.
