In celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, along with their new partnership with Team USA and the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, DICK’S Sporting Goods launched 'Big Moments Happen Every Day', the latest work from their ongoing Sports Change Lives platform.
The work, created by DICK’S Sporting Goods and creative agency, Arts & Letters, champions how the biggest moments in sports don’t just happen in sold-out arenas, or on Olympic podiums. They happen everywhere, every day, at every age and skill level.
During a time when most people are watching athletes compete on the world stage, this UGC-focused campaign gives center stage to the triumphs, wins, and celebrations that feel life-changing to everyday athletes.
With this work, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Arts & Letters hope to fuel the conversation about the power of sports and continue showing the world that DICK’S Sporting Goods is more than just a sports retailer, they’re a company that helps people realize their potential through sports.
As part of the campaign, fans are encouraged to share their biggest sports moments on social, tagging @dickssportinggoods and using #BigMomentsEveryDay for an opportunity to be featured on the brand’s social channels. To further amplify this content, DICK’S Sporting Goods is partnering with Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, professional skateboarder Tony Hawk, three-time Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes, Paralympic athlete Ezra French and more to share their own biggest moments and interact with fans.
The integrated campaign began running on July 23, 2024 and includes a 30-second Anthem and a family of 15-second ads that will air throughout the Paris 2024 Olympic Games broadcast coverage, online and on social channels.
