Dingo Bill has announced that Mikey Trotter’s Channel 5 TV Doc for
KnickerbockerGlory “My Name Is…” appears on the BFI “Best British TV of 2016”
list. His work sits amongst some incredible programming that has aired since
the start of the year, making his inclusion all the more exciting.
After its success with viewers and critics alike, Mikey has been working closely with Channel 5 to create a full series based on his film, which shall launch later this year.
According to the BFI: "Filmmaker Mikey Trotter’s softly-spoken take on a very raw and personal subject proves the old adage that a strong story well told needs very little embellishment. An ultimately uplifting gem of a film."
Mikey could not be more pleased at his inclusion in the BFI list and says: “I was completely lost for words when I saw my film on the BFI List - it’s really quite humbling. I can’t wait for the full series to launch soon and to share even more stories."
Mikey Trotter is available to bring his
fantastic storytelling skills, and incredible eye for beauty, to commercial
projects through Dingo Bill Productions.
