Research shows that 78% of Poles believe that pro-attendance and educational campaigns have encouraged them to participate in parliamentary elections in Poland. DOBRO has produced three of them.
This year's parliamentary elections in Poland were exceptionally important as they ended the eight-year rule of a far-right party. There was a significant mobilisation felt in the country, further fueled by campaigns encouraging participation in the elections.
Most of them were directed towards women and young people. The campaigns were mainly conducted online, with some also appearing on television, in cinemas, and on the radio. Some of them were supported by the efforts of a wide range of influencers, artists, celebrities, and public figures.
As a production house, DOBRO was involved in the production of three campaigns: The Batory Foundation and its educational videos on democracy, the Committee for the Defense of Democracy (KOD) with a series of films about fair and lawful elections, and “Awakening”- a spot in which many young Polish celebrities used their presence to encourage people to go to the polls.
