End of an Era as One Direction Make ‘History’ in New Music Video
Fulwell73 teams up with ENVY Advertising once again to create One Direction’s 'History', the boyband’s final promo ahead of their indefinite hiatus.
The project continues the companies’ long-standing creative partnership, with the pair previously collaborating on an array of One Direction promos and commercials, including You & I, Night Changes and Drag Me Down.
Directed by Fulwell73’s Calvin Aurand, Ben Winston and Gabe Turner, History bids an emotional farewell to the boys as editor Claudia Wass combines live performances with archive footage.
ENVY’s James Trimming post-produced the project, alongside colourist Danny Wood, Flame artist Kieran Baxter and Flame assist Fran Hill.
James Trimming comments: “What a journey! It’s been absolutely brilliant working with Ben, Gabe, Carly and Lou across the One Direction promos and a spattering of their kooky ads, like Between Us and Honda Civic. Creatively and structurally, Fulwell73 are always open to suggestions, which is a rare treat in this industry and has contributed to some very exciting collaborations between us.
