To mark a partnership between Renault Sport's Formula One Team and iconic toy brand Lego, Renault has created a short stop-motion film that's guaranteed to delight the every petrolhead's inner child.
Created for digital platforms, the film tells the story of a determined Lego minifigure who creates his own Renault F1 car to triumph in a toy car race, after coming last against the other toy figurines thanks to his lousy toy car. The stop-motion animation was created by The Loft, Publicis Conseil for Renault Sport. Director Victor Haegelin is the spot's masterbuilder and WIZZ produced it.
The partnership between the two brands was forged to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Renault in Formua One. L’Atelier Renault are also creating a 1:1 scale replica of the Renault Formula One pilot car, built with 600,000 Lego bricks.
