For the launch of the limited edition 'Yeah!' sneakers, Italian luxury brand Golden Goose sought the help of US based director Casey Brooks. With a deep knowledge and extensive background in dance, Brooks’ collaboration with the brand was a perfect fit. An energetic 50-person flash mob set in front of the bright lights of Times Square, the video and production turned out as lively and happy as the shoes themselves.
Taking on the roles of casting, directing and editing, Brooks gave her unique flow and flair for movement to the piece. Working closely with choreographer Soraya Lundy and the cast of dancers, most of whom Brooks has a personal relationship with, Brooks brought to life the idea behind the 'Yeah!' sneakers.
She states: “The coolest part for me was being able to work with these incredibly talented local dancers and then putting them in front of the legendary Times Square backdrop. The whole project just felt so authentically New York City.”
The Golden Goose 'Yeah' video can be viewed on Golden Goose social, web and digital media platforms.
