Midjourney generated AI designs for each of the 12 days of Christmas

Forever Beta is spreading the Christmas cheer in a slightly unusual fashion, creating an AI generated series of Christmas Cards for its clients and the innovative agency’s social channels.

The unsettling and macabre images while entertaining highlight an important message, whilst AI is on the rise and dominating the news, the important briefs should be left to humans… for now.

Working with AI megamind ‘Midjourney’ the agency generated AI designs for each of the 12 days of Christmas. Partridge in a pear tree turns into a warped version of Alan Partridge amongst pears, three french hens become a bizarre trio of croissants with chicken heads, and five gold rings is a twisted lump of gold metal loops which an AI hand has become entangled with.

Additionally Forever Beta has designed an AI card for each client, such as Peperami, where the agency blended Christmas with pork sticks, creating an eerie giant santa holding up some strange looking meat snacks.

The results are weird and wonderful, stirring up conversations around the topic and potentially causing a few sleepless nights. Whilst the agency embraces technology and all it has to offer, it wanted to show that some jobs are better left to the humans, who can give creativity that personal touch of human connection.

Mark Campion, creative director at Forever Beta, said: “Forever Beta always approaches projects with a Beta attitude - and embracing technology is always at the forefront of our thinking. With AI blowing up in the past few years, and sneaking into a lot of professions, it can now replicate human behaviour. Or can it? We considered the ramifications of where AI could be heading and that it is yet to master the type of thinking required for effective creativity. The aim is to spread this message whilst also giving people a little chuckle around the holidays.”
