'Break up', is the new regional campaign for Gatorade that shows the way in which sports help us feel better.
With a simple, empathetic and humane film, the story tells the way in which sports, endorphins and sweat help the protagonist get over a complicated moment in his life, Because playing sports is gratifying and, at the same time, therapeutic. It gives us confidence, it restores our self-esteem and makes people more vital and happier.
The spot was directed by Nicolás Pérez Veiga, and produced by Primo Buenos Aires.
“Together with our regional team, we have worked for the last three years in connecting the brand to new audiences. This short film tells the story of what happens when playing sports intervenes in human everyday stories”, Rodrigo Grau and Ariel Serkin, chief creative officer Isla, added.
“No matter which sport you play, what kind of training you do or your fitness level, Gatorade exists to provide you with complete hydration, with electrolytes and energy, to perform better and reach your potential”, said Martin Watson, hydration marketing senior director.
The film also conveys the message that we are all 'sporties' and we need to have a good connection to our body, regardless of our fitness level. And Gatorade, world leader in hydration, helps us along that journey by providing us with the energy to go on.
